There are a total of four (4) Associations in the Lakeshore Colony community. Three are based on the location of the property you own and the fourth is an "umbrella" type master association responsible for all of the common areas of the community. When you purchase property you will automatically become members of two of them. The association based on the location of the property and the Master Association.
Lakeshore Colony No. 1 Condominium Association, Inc. is a condominium association for the 40 unit owners in the condo building located near the pool. The address is 8200 Lakeshore Drive, Hypoluxo, FL 33462
Lakeshore Colony Villas Association, Inc is a HOA association for the 10 residents in the villa section west of the condo parking area. Address is 41 S Lakeshore Drive, Hypoluxo, FL 33462
Lakeshore North Homeowners Association, Inc is an HOA made up of the balance of the properties in the community and totals 134 members. Address is Lakeshore North Homeowners Association, Inc, C/O Quality Management Group, 9045 La Fontana Blvd, Suite 101, Boca Raton, FL 33434

Board members or directors are elected annually by each association at their respective annual meetings. The Lakeshore Colony Master Association, Inc includes representatives from all of the associations on the board of directors to ensure fair representation from all areas.
You should contact your primary association to see what their assessments are, how frequently they are due and what they cover. Insurance, for instance, is handled differently by each association. The master association is responsible for the common properties only and does not provide reserve funding or insurance for any residence in the community.
